Thank You

I’m proud to say that we raised just over $2,000, of which $1,000 will be awarded to a 2021 graduate of Opp High School. I am very thankful for such a success in our first year! We have laid the groundwork and it’s only up from here.

I would like to thank the following sponsors for their unquestioned and immediate response to make this possible.

JM JACKSON…J M Jackson Chevrolet Buick has been serving Covington County since 1934. Their mission is to provide the best selection in Chevrolet and Buick vehicles in a friendly and welcoming environment. With 80 years of success, they look forward to adding you to their long history of happy customers.

BENTONS SNACK BAR – Now a second generation owned business, the Dorsey’s bought from Henry D. Benton in 1990. The Snack Bar has been a staple in Opp since the 50’s (best I can tell) when it was part of Henry D. Benton’s Grocery.

Where’s the BEEF? McLeod Farms has it! They have been helping to feed America since 2011.

WOPP- Brothers Robert and Ronnie Boothe put WOPP on the air on September 19, 1980 and since then WOPP has provided Opp and the surrounding area with excellent broadcasting service. WOPP cares about our community and is actively involved in making Opp and Covington County better.

ENSCO OF ELBA has been in business since 1992. Carrie bought it in 2011 and they are now a registered female owned business serving the southern states.

And to everyone who wasn’t sure what a virtual 5k was but still chose to support the cause, a huge thank you!
